December has been the date chosen for the reopening of the Old Course at The San Roque Club. Stephen Dundas, managing director stated that “it has been eleven months of intense work to have the practice area open, and now all is left for me to do is to thank the enormous effort of our team in a year greatly complicated by the pandemic.”

Mr. Dundas has highlighted the support in the redesign of this iconic course by the charismatic Manuel Piñero and clarified that “there is still much to do … I hope that the public will be able to enjoy it from April and certainly between July and August” and also assured that “we are very proud of the work done despite the many obstacles and difficulties in this unprecedented year, but the wonderful dream is now a reality.”

The mythical course has undergone a profound metamorphosis in its 18 holes, as well as in its Club House, with the aim of once again being one of the top-level courses on the national and international scene. The course was inaugurated in 1991 and is now owned by the Golf Estate, with an investment in works of 3 million euros that have lasted approximately one year.
